PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Chemistik EP ECA-450 is a unique state of art, two component, water soluble epoxy additive for use in mortars and concrete requiring high degree of strengths and impermeability. Highly recommended for specialised repairs and restoration of (reinforced) all type of concrete and plasters in various stages of constructions and in a variety of concrete structures.

FLOORING PRODUCTS

APPLICATION:

Mix resin and hardner thoroughly which is to be added to the dry mix of cement and sand or aggregate. Typical example is given below for dosage of 1:4 mortar for plaster based on 25 mm thickness. 8 Kgs Cement + 32 Kgs Fine Sand + 1 Kg. Water + 2 kgs .ECA-450.

Alternatively one can use 5% ECA-450 by weight of total Mix or 25% ECA-450 by weight of cement to get the desired results. The addition of water should not be more than recommended as it will affect the performance of the repair material. However, sprinkling of a little water to adjust the workability may be allowed (depending on ambient temperatures). Mix material enough so as to finish it within 2 hours. Once mix as above is ready commence application. Lubricating the trowel with water at intervals is recommended for easy movement and proper finish. Once applied the material will initially set within one hour and will finally set within 8-10 hours. No further moist curing is required.
