ALUFLEX AL-40

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Aluflex AL-40 is a two-component, Epoxy based coating carefully blended with the best aluminium pigment, fillers and clean solvents. Its excellent properties not only reflect heat, but provides outstanding corrosion resistance, waterproofing and ultra violet protection for a variety of substrates including metal, concrete etc. It is available in selected metallic colours.

ADVANTAGES:

Flexibility : Forms an excellent elastic and tough waterproof film which will not crack, spall, or peel in severe climatic condittons.
Resistance : Excellent resistance to natural corrosion, mild acids, alkalies, fumes etc.
Reflective : Its silver colour reflects almost 60% of the sun's rays hence keeps the interiors cool, reduces energy bills and most importantly, reduces thermal load on the slabs, thus, increasing its life.
Seamless : AL-40 has no joints or laps which are often the cause of failure with sheet and built-up water proofing systems.
Easy Application : It is supplied in preweighted mixes, if two parts and is very easy to use and requires relatively simple training and semi-skilled labour to apply.

APPLICATIONS:
AL-40 is suitable for both new and maintenance work. Its varied applications are rust proofing, weather proofing of metal roofs, tanks, bridges, structural steel, electrical transmission towers, piping, guard rails, bus bodies, roofs, street light poles etc. It is ideal for waterproofing of new and old terraces, folded plate roofs, domes, shell roofs and steeples, GI and corrugate sheets, valley gutters etc.
