MARINE EPOXY - LV 101

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Argus Marine Epoxy-LV 101 is available in liquid and paste consistencies for use in high humidity, wet and underwater applications. This moderately reactive, moisture insensitive epoxy system, is used for the repair of dams and other structures where high moisture surfaces and water cannot be removed in order to facilitate repairs and maintenance. The liquid consistency can be used for underwater injection of cracks, voids and delaminations, while the paste is used for sealing around concrete.

The paste is also used as a bonding adhesive for underwater use. The paste and liquid formulations contain no solvents and are 100% solids. The liquid can be used with select graded aggregates to form a mortar or grout used for overlayments underwater or to repair large holes or deteriorated areas below the water surfaces.

ARGUS PREMIUM

PREPARATION:

Loose and deteriorated concrete should be removed. Remove old coatings. waxes, oils, rubber deposits, grease and algae and other contaminants because they may be detrimental to adhesion.
Open both containers i.e. resins and hardener of liquid under water epoxy.
Mix both the components together and mix thoroughly for just 1 to 2 minutes.
Pour the mixed epoxy liquid in a larger container which has a capacity to hold the aggregate and epoxy liquid.
Add 200 to 250 gms of sand, 200 mesh in 100 gms of Under Water Epoxy blended liquid and mix it thoroughly until all the sand and resins are mixed properly and mix the material for at least 5 minutes.
Use the material within 30 minutes as it cures fast.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

After thorough mixing commence installation. Product rnixed with graded aggregate should be deposited within forms which have been lined with polyethylene sheet or other bond breaking material to facilitate removal. Injection liquid without fillers can be installed immediately after mixing, using pressure equipment or hand injection tools. The paste consistency product can also be applied immediately after mixing, using hand tools.

CLEANING OF TOOLS:

Clean equipment and tools immediately after use. Use ER THIN - 200 or solvent for cleaning. Wash hands and skin areas with soap and warm water.
