Chemistik's
Polymer Modified Bitumen Membranes are prefabricated
and its compound is composed of distilled bitumen, and plastomers,
reinforced with woven and non-woven polyester fabric.
This modified compound offers good ageing properties, cold flexibility,
durability and elasticity. It has a burn off Polyethylene film on one
side
and talc on the other to prevent the roll from sticking'to itself.

-:APPLICATIONS:
The
Membranes Polyethylene burn off film melts during torching by applying
the correct application temperature, the embossed surface of the Embrane
melts indicating the correct temperature and helping in vapour diffusion
and bond to the surface. Chemistik Membranes are designed to be used
in a wide range of applications for waterproofing such as foundations,
basements all types of roofs and terraces flat or curved, AC & Gl
Roofs, Mangalore Roofs (inside), roof gardens, as an under lay before
brick bat or tiling, or Roads and Bridges, aquaducts, tunnels, subways
etc.. It can also be used to create a temporary pond or shanty roof.
